Car Accident

Hey Everyone,
So a few weeks ago on August 15, I got into a bad car accident. I was heading out to Opelika to watch a show at my friend Matt Tabor's house. It was around 8:00 pm and I was driving on Hwy 280, which is a very dark hwy. I was driving and all the sudden I see this black dog come darting across the hwy. I tried to swerve, but when you are going 70 miles an hour, that can cause you to lose control. I went from being in the left lane to running head first into the right side gaurd rail. Then it caused me to spin back across the hwy and head first into the left hand guard rail.
It was the scariest thing I think I have ever gone through. I had absolutely no control and it was scary. There are so many things for me to be thankful for. One, that I was wearing my seatbelt and didn't go throught the windshield. Two, that no one else was involved or in the car with me. Three, that no other car hit me while I was spinning back and forth playing pinball with the gaurd rails on either side. Four, that I didn't go over the bridge overpass into the creek that was 5 feet in front of me. Five, that I wasn't more seriously injured. Finally six, that I was in my brand new car that had a lot of safety features, such as air bags that I knew worked and onstar, that called the police and medics. (It was just like the commercial where they say, "We'll stay on the line until help arrives) Haha. Well, I ended up with some bumps and brusises, and some burns, a broken wrist, and possibly a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder, and some whip lash, but when I think about how badly I could have been injured, it feels like a miracle.
Right now, it is stressful trying to start my last semester of classes with all of this going on, but I know the Lord will take care of it, just like he took care of me during my accident. I just can't tell you how blessed I feel to have my creator watching over me every second and holding me when I need to be held. I almost picture him holding back the other cars with His hand for just the amount of time it took for me to come to a stop.

Here are some Pictures:
Thank the Lord, when it was spinning on the other side of the hwy that is spun and hit every place but the drivers side door where I was sitting. Praise God.

The whole front end was almost completely on the other side of the hwy

Here's the rest of the front that was on the other side of the hwy where the first hit was

There's my engine hanging out...glad it wasn't in my lap though! Thank God for new car technology!

Also thank you for guard rails or I would have hit a tree and gone 70 miles an hour into the woods right there.

There are a lot of things to be thankful for and I am still recovering, but the Lord really protected me through this. Just like the Psalm says:

Psalm 34:7
7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
       and he delivers them.

Thank you all for your prayers and your help. I have a hard time swollowing my pride and asking for help, so I am thankful to those of you who have forced help upon me. You have been such a blessing.

Over and Out,
Moon
